What is Flying Stars Feng Shui?
Flying Stars Feng Shui is a subset of 玄空飛星 [Xuan Kong Fei Xing] which itself is a subset of 三元風水 [San Yuan Feng Shui]. It was cracked by Master Shen Zhu Nai and passed the secret down to us. The real meaning of San Yuan [三元] is 3 cycles. Qi is considered evolved and changed through time. Transformation occurs every 20 years and on each small year, there will be also a change of qi. The Yin and Yang of the 24 mountains (二十四山陰陽) 24 Mountain Reference Chart If you want to measure a building with a compass or Luo Pan, you better find a clear open space at a longer distance in front of the building and make sure the spot you choose is free from magnetic disturbance e.g. lamp post, cars, generator, etc. I do not recommend you to measure from inside of the building because nowadays building is made from steel, and it will cause wrong measurement. How to fly the stars? Determine the Age or Period of the Building (See the table on the top above), for example, house build on 2008 is considered build in Age or Period of 8. Draw an “Age of 8” chart with 8 in the center and distribution of other number according to the Lo Shu pattern like above. Determine the Facing and Sitting using the 24 Mountains. Place the ‘Facing’ number or Water Star in the top right corner of the central palace and place the ‘Sitting’ number or Mountain Star in the top left corner of the central palace. For example, house build in period 8, facing South1. In Feng Shui, we put South on top, and North on bottom. Determine whether the Facing and Sitting stars will fly forward or backward (See 24 mountains reference table above). For the example above, 3 is an Odd number and it is in South sector 1, so it will fly forward, while 4 is an Even number, so it will fly backward. Flying forward means that the number will go from smaller to bigger, while flying backward means that the number will go from bigger to smaller.
