Tragic Death of Shoya Tomizawa Print

Japanese Moto2 rider Shoya Tomizawa has died after crash during San Marino Grand Prix on Sunday 5 September 2010. He was travelling at full speed when he fell off the corner, then he was hit violently by Alex de Angelis and Scott Redding. He was rush to a local hospital and he was pronounced dead at 2.20 pm local time.

Shoya Tomizawa was born on 10 December 1990 in Asahi City, Chiba. His four pillars are as below.

Four Pillars of Shoya Tomizawa

His Day Master is Yin Earth (己). Shoya Tomizawa is a weak earth and his favorable elements are fire and earth (午 fire and 戊 earth in his 4P), and unfavorable elements are metal, water and wood. From the age of 9 to 18, Tomizawa was in good luck because the luck pillar is full of earth (己 is Yin earth and 丑 is also Earth). Since 2006 until 2009 (the heavenly stem is fire and earth), he appeared on both 125cc and 25cc class and finishing at a top rank. If we look into his first four pillars, 庚 (Yang metal) is his aggressive intelligence, so his four pillars actually already showed that he like dangerous kind of sport like racing.

He was pronounced death at 2.20 pm local time. We must do some time corrective first before we can draw the four pillars when the accident occurred. After correction the actual death hour is 1.10 pm (deduct 1 hour DST which started on 28th March 2010 until 31st October 2010 and location of San Marino is at 12˚30' E). The accident must been occurred around 11-1 pm. The four pillars of the accident and time of death are as below.

Four Pillars of Tomizawa's Death

The four pillars chart of Shoya Tomizawa is already showing a clash between the 子 (water) and 午 (fire). This clash actually means blood or losing blood. This clash occurred in his year pillars. Year pillars can represent age between 0-20 years old. From above 4P actually, we know that he will have trouble but because he is in good luck pillar until age of 18, he doesn't seem to have so much trouble with this clash. At the age of 19, he enter the luck pillar of 庚寅 (Yang Metal on Tiger wood) which is his unfavorable element. This year 2010 庚寅 (Yang Metal on Tiger wood) also enhances his bad luck period.

On the hour of accident, there are also two self penalties (午 hour at the hour of accident against 午 at the year pillar of the 4P plus 午 hour at the hour of accident with the 午 at the day of the accident), and this worsen the clash that has already showed up in his 4P. This penalty is not like clash, it can be interpreted as the elements don't like to see each other. If there is a self penalty on the hour, it can means something goes wrong that is caused by him. At this hour (I assume the accident happened in between 11-1 pm), the news reported that he was travelling at full speed then he fell off before a corner. The fell is not cause by other people, it was brought by him alone.

In the four pillars of the racing day, the heavenly stem of the month 甲 Yang wood and the year 庚 Yang metal was also in clash. Metal cut off the wood; on which Yang wood represent the head, so probably head or cranial trauma that caused his death. Not just the heavenly stem was in clash, the earthly branches of 申 metal clash with the year 寅 wood. There were two Yang earth 戊 showed up in the day of the accident which means Tomizawa (he is also an earth day master) will also draw other riders into this accident. The day of when the accident occurred was already filled with 2 clash plus 1 self penalty, so actually it is already a bad day for Tomizawa.

The earthly branches of the hour pillar at the time of death is 未, and the 午 fire in his year pillar combine with 未 earth in the hour pillar (plus 午 combine with 未 in the 4P on the day and hour he pronounced death) when he pronounced death (his supportive element 午 fire is taken away). All this combination in his 4P cause his tragedy.
